Do Something
2 Corinthians 6:1-10
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1).
Friend, this month I urge you to do something with your life.
I encourage you to step out in faith and do something to bless others and make our world better. God has blessed us with so much; it is time to give back to our world, society and generation.
You can choose to do something that will make impact in your school, church community, office or work. You can choose to create a new business that will meet the needs of others while you are being blessed. The key thing is do not receive the grace of God in vain.
Why am I writing in this direction? The answer is in the passage we read. The Bible says, “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you” (2 Corinthians 6:2). It is the season of God’s favor and help. Whatsoever we desire to do would be granted to us because we believe in God. It is the season of help because it is the season of salvation.
Every gift and talent can be used for kingdom purpose. Ask God for the favor and help you need so that you can do well. When you choose to do something, you will become an agent of redemption in the life of others and many will be saved. Step out and do something. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Ask God to open your eyes to see the various ways you can use your gifts and talents to bless other people.
- Declare to yourself that you will be a vessel of honor in this season.
Song: There is none holy as the Lord.
