Dependence On Divine Leadership

Isaiah 45:1-3
Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held  To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that  the gates will not be shut (Isaiah 45:1).

The need to continue to trust God with our lives and future remain a lifelong need. It is a decision we have to make

from time to time.

Why do we have to depend on God to lead and guide us? I believe it is because He knows the way. He is our maker and He knows what is best for us. He is the omnipotent One; He knows what lies ahead of us and what tomorrow holds.

Speaking to Prophet Isaiah, God made us to understand that He can hold our hands and lead us to the place of peace. He can also lead us to victory so that we do not live life as victims. He said, “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held  to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings…” (vs.1). What He said to Cyrus, He is saying to us.

He has promised to go before us too and remove every obstacle and hindrances that may want to delay our progress in life. That is the kind of God we need. We want Him to lead us and help us to win in the affairs life. Let us learn to lean on Him and ask Him to lead us. We will be grateful for His help and leadership in the end. Shalom.
