Claim Your Daily Benefits
Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. (Psalm 68:19).
Sometime ago, it dawned on me that I needed to take advantage of my day because each day has its plans, blessing and benefits that God wants me to accomplish or receive.
As a result of this understanding and as often as I remembered, I began to call forth the blessing that God had planned for me on each day. I started commanding my day to add to me. I became conscious of my hours and how I spent my time. I didn’t want to end the day and not be able to point out what I had accomplished, or what I had done to bless someone else or even check the blessing that I had received. My productivity and impact increased.
Friend, I do not know whether your days look the same day in, day out. But they are not supposed to be. God is the God of blessing. Each day of your life has been coded with command meant for you. He planned how to help you with your burdens if you would come to Him.
I challenge you today to begin to claim your daily benefits from God. You will see how engaging your day will be and how expectant you will be also. Indeed, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation” (Psalm 68:19). Shalom.
