Change In Leadership
1 Timothy 2:1-3
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men (1 Timothy 2:1).
I sense in my heart that the change in the political landscape that has been ongoing since the year 2014, will continue at an unprecedented rate. There will be coups and changes in leaderships around the world. This will also affect many economies and business leadership.
The change in Europe’s landscape and the migrants’ crisis will take a new turn. It will be one of the issues that would threaten the unity of the remaining nations in the European Union, EU. This may also create room for new interests and ideologies in the EU.
The EU may come together as a force against the United Kingdom but this also may not last because God is not through with the ongoing rearrangement in the continent. The God of the universe is acting out a script, even though men think they are the ones behind it. In the end, all will cry holy and bow before Him.
What are we to do? We are to pray. The Scripture says, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men” (1Timothy 2:1). We will pray for all men; not only for our little family or corner of the street. We live in a global world and our prayer has the capacity to make global impact. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Talk to God about our world. We cannot afford to be silent. Pray: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
O Lord”.
- Ask the Lord to show mercy on all of us.
Song: He’s got the whole world in His hands.
