Bless The Lord
Psalm 104: 1-13
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty (vs. 1).
Friend, the Lord has been good to me. He has preserved my life from death. Over the years, the Lord has watched over my family and kept us in the hollow of His hands. He did not allow the plans of the enemy to come to pass. Indeed, bless the Lord, O my soul for He is great.
For all the many blessings that I have received in the last three months, I give God all the glory and praise. Who would have thought that I would be alive if not for the Lord? Who would have thought that I could be useful to the Lord and be a blessing to my generation? Only the Lord could do all of these for me. That is why I choose to praise Him today.
I could go on and on to testify of the Lord’s faithfulness in my life. To you my friend, has the Lord done anything you can testify to and thank Him for? Do you have a reason to bless the Name of the Lord? The psalmist writes, “What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me?” (Psalm 116:12).
Let us offer our praises to Him and it will be a worthy offering from a heart of gratitude. May our lives be filled with more testimonies. May His praise never cease in our mouths.
Shalom.
