Bless The Lord

Psalm 103:1-23
The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever (Psalm 103:3).

Today, we will extend what we learned yesterday to our relationship with God. Let us take time to bless our God  and give Him thanks for all that He has done for us.

Friend, let us not hold back our praise of the One who is good and great. Let us not withhold our worship from the great God, who is mighty and loving. Let us not withhold our praise because we have not seen the answers to our prayers. We must praise Him for what He has done already and thank Him for keeping us alive to this day.

Look a little closer and you will see the faithfulness of God in your life. Several times, He has forgiven your sins. Many times He has healed you through your prayers and medicine. In every way He has proved faithful. Have you forgotten the time you were in need and great trouble? He sent someone to help you; He delivered you and took away shame. These and many others are the things we can thank the Lord for.

Indeed, bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy Name. Ten thousand tongues are not enough to praise Him for what He has done for me already. How about you?Open your mouth and bless the Lord.

Your Turn

  • Reflect on God’s faithfulness and bless His holy Name.
