Be Strong And Do Exploit
Daniel 11:32 b
… the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits
Extending yesterday’s devotional thoughts, the Holy Spirit reminded me of today’s text. Only those who know their God that would be strong in the face of attacks and opposition. These are the ones who will be able to withstand false teachings and strange doctrines.
Looking at the events that are unfolding around the globe, without the knowledge of God’s word, we may be tempted to think that God is asleep. However, when we are informed we would know that God has a plan – He wants more people to be saved.
With knowledge we would be assured in our faith and receive strength from God to do great exploits as we reach out to others in love and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to them. God wants us to be strong and stand with faith in His word.
When Helen was attacked in her workplace by her boss, she stood firm in her faith. She maintained that the situation would work together for her good. In the fullness of time God intervened. A new boss was appointed, who gave her the respect and professional autonomy she needed to work well and contribute to the growth of the organization.
It is my prayer that you will be challenged to study God’s word in order to build your faith. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Take time to think on these things and pray for yourself.
- Pray for the grace to do exploit for God and His kingdom.
