Ask Of Me
Jeremiah 33:3
Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here (The Living Bible).
One of my desires for writing daily devotionals is to encourage us to develop a close relationship with God. I also want to create a hunger in us to want to experience the things we read in God’s word.
For me, there is no joy of reading about something that I cannot experience. The Bible is not a history book. It is the living word of God, active and full of potentials to transform lives. I want to enjoy what the fathers of faith we read about enjoyed. I want to walk away from what hindered them from benefiting from God’s promises.
Following yesterday’s devotional, let us be encouraged to practice what we have learned. We want to do what the prophet admonished us to do. We will ask the Lord to show us remarkable things about our lives, children, family, business, career and life. God can do so. You see, I am tired of living in the dark while the enemy continues to rob us of our blessings.
The Scripture is full of examples of how God revealed things to His people and blessed them. He also warned them of impending dangers and they were saved. The evil that the enemy planned did not happen. That is the kind of experiences I want to have in my walk with God. How about you? Let us pray.
Your Turn
- Take time today to pray. Ask the Lord to lead you and show you remarkable things you need to know for you to prosper and be helped in life.
