Are You In The Right Place?

Ruth 2:3-7
Then Boaz asked his foreman, “Who is that young woman over there? Who does she belong to?” (Ruth 2:5, NLT).

We will continue to glean fresh insights and revelations of God’s word. Today’s passage makes us know that where you are determine who sees you. The platform you stand upon will affect the people you meet and the network you build thereafter. That is why it is important for us to keep the right company and be in the right place at the right time.

The decision to step out of the box and go after something new led to the meeting between Boaz and Ruth. As I have said few days ago, I believe the divine hand was behind the scene working. Or how would you relate Boaz’s visit to the field on the day Ruth appeared in his field? Only God can arrange that. When he saw her he asked, “Who is that young
woman over there? Who does she belong to?” (vs. 5, NLT).

Friend, we need to ask God to help us be in the right place and keep us in the right path. We need to believe that God loves us and works on our behalf. We may not see all that He is doing or where He is at work, but be rest assured that when He is through, you would testify to His goodness. Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Ask the Lord to open your eyes to the things you need to do in order to be where He wants you to be.
  • Pray that you will be led to the right place to meet those He has purposed for you.

Song: His banner of me is love.
