A Time Will Come

Isaiah 55:6-7
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near (Isaiah 55:6).

There is a time for everything under the sun.  A time to be born and a time to die, even a time to seek the Lord and a time to be sought by the Lord!

When we were sinners, God in His mercy sought us and saved us. He allowed us to be where we could have access to the gospel and believe the message. But do you know that if we had refused to respond to His call, He would have stopped calling?  It is possible.

Today’s focal text makes us to understand that there is a time to seek God and find Him. “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:.6). When God hides, it could be dangerous because then you will seek Him but will not find Him.

Friend, let us be sensitive not to miss the day of our visitation. Has God been knocking the doors of your heart and you are not responding? Has He asked you to do something for Him and you are refusing?

The most painful thing about God’s call is that if you do not respond to Him, He may go and look for someone else.

Think about these things. Shalom.
