We Pray For Africa
Ezekiel 22:22-31
So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one (Ezekiel 22:30).
Today, we will pray for Africa. The continent is undergoing a lot of changes that cuts across its political, religious and ethnic landscape. There are wars, terrorist attacks, political turmoil and economic challenges in many nations.
In addition to this is the increase in the number of presidents who have declined to hand over power. This has led to wars, bad governance and corruption. It is easier to talk than to pray. Yet, God wants us to pray and plead for mercy.
1. Thank God for the opportunity to pray for Africa.
2. Present as many nations in the continent you can remember and thank God for the souls living in them.
3. Ask the Lord to show mercy on these nations.
4. Pray for nations that are in famine right now in different parts of the continent.
5. Ask the Lord to release His angels and restore peace in Africa.
6. Pray for an end to every form of insurgency in Africa.
7. Ask the Lord to unseat leaders who have declined to hand over power and are doing no good to their countries.
8. Come against every satanic agenda to hinder Africa’s freedom and economic growth.
9. Declare an end to the rising health and social challenges in the continent.
10. Pray for increase in gender equality and girl-child education.
11. Pray for peace in the continent.
12. Open your mouth wide and declare great things for Africa.
13. Thank God for answered prayers.
Your Turn
- Thank God for His love for Africa and His plan to free the continent indeed.
