You Are Not Far From Rehoboth
Genesis 26:12-25
So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land” (Genesis 26:22a).
Friend, hold on because God is leading and directing us though we cannot see it. You are not far from your Rehoboth.
You may have been attacked, hated and envied by men. May be you have lost all that you have – your job, kids and family because of your faith or as a result of the mistakes of the past. God says, “Do not fear. I know how to turn things around.Where you have been rejected, you will be welcomed and be blessed again. It may not happen when you want it but as night follows the day it will surely happen”.
Isaac and his servants refused to be dejected for the rejection they had suffered from the men of Gerar and the Philistines. They remained positive and continued to dig. One day, water came running out and no one contended with them. They knew the Lord had done it. Isaac named the place, “Rehoboth”. He said, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land” (Genesis 26:22).
Friend, God will bring you to your Rehoboth. He will make room for you. Your business will flourish again. Your products will sell again. You will win contracts again, because you are not far from your Rehoboth. Before the end of the year, you too will testify that the Lord has done great things for you. Shalom.
Your Turn
