His Miracles
Luke 9:10-17
So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets
of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
Luke 9:17
A songwriter said, “Miracle worker, you are the miracle worker/ come and do a miracle, a miracle today/ come and
do a miracle/ a miracle today. Why? His name is Yahweh, the Lord. He can do anything and all things.
Friend, Jesus Christ is the miracle worker per excellence. His birth, growth, life, ministry, death and resurrection are miracles. He did many miracles and touched several lives during His lifetime. This is another part of Him we need to know.
A miracle has been defined as an unusual or wonderful event that is believed to be caused by the power of God. It is a very amazing event or achievement. When Jesus fed the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes, it was a miracle.
His disciples told Him to send the multitude away so they could find where to eat. Jesus told them, “You give them something to eat”. The rest was history as the little boy’s food became the meal for many and twelve baskets of leftovers were gathered.
Friend, Jesus still performs miracles. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Let us not believe the lie that, “miracles don’t happen again”. Let’s believe God and we will experience His miraculous interventions in our lives. Remember, what you believe is what you will attract. What you expect is what you will get. Shalom.
