Micah 3:1-12
Listen to me, you rulers of Israel! You know right from wrong, but you prefer to do evil instead of what is right. You skin my people alive. You strip off their flesh.
Micah 3:1-2, CEV

Our God is Jehovah Roi. He sees everything. He is the Omnipotent, the All-knowing God. There is nothing
hidden from Him. See Psalm 139.

When our leaders think that the Lord does not see or know what they do and how they oppress the people of the land, they need to think again. God sees our sins. He will expose them if we fail to repent when He warns.

He said, “So listen to my message, you rulers of Israel! You hate justice and twist the truth. You make cruelty and
murder a way of life in Jerusalem.You leaders accept bribes for dishonest decisions. You priests and prophets teach and preach, but only for money” (Micah 3:9-11a, CEV).

Evil leaders and false prophets will be judged by the Lord at the fullness of time. Those who set up ministries and
churches for selfish gains will have God to contend with. Those who teach what the people want or love to hear
instead of the undiluted truth of God’s word will have a case to answer when He comes.

What are we to do? We are to seek the Lord to fill us with His power and Spirit so we can be courageous and strong to live right and condemn evil when we encounter it. May the Lord help us to live right in Jesus Name. Shalom.
