Now Is The Time To Pray
Psalm 144:1-15
Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, whose mouth speaks lying words … That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters maybe as pillars, sculptured in palace style (Psalm 144:11-12).
When we fail to pray, we will become a prey.
When we fail to pray, the blessings meant for us may elude us. When we fail to pray, our inaction may jeopardize the
wellbeing and the outcome of our children’s life. When we fail to pray, our business and career, progress and success may suffer or experience temporary damage and delay.
When we fail to pray, the profit meant for us may not come to us.
When we fail to pray, our cities, villages, and nation will experience violence and war.
Why? It is because we live in a broken and a wicked world.
The enemy will not let us go of our blessings easily. It will take the force of prayer to take what belongs to us from him and his cohorts.
Remember, how long it took Moses and God for Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go from the land of Egypt. The enemy still plays the same game. You must fight for your inheritance. The good news is that when we pray, the Lord will hear and preserve us. We will enjoy the blessings described in Psalm 114:11- 15. Look at these blessings again. See how good they are on you and your inheritance. Then take the time to pray. The Lord will answer you. Shalom.
