Acts 4:12
And in none other is salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.

Sitting in my local church years ago, I was reminded again the truth of the Word of God in the passage we read as the choir sang a hymn written, “My faith has found a resting place”. The chorus reads thus:

I need no other argument
I need no other plea
It is enough that Jesus died
And that He died for me.

Friend, we need no other god, we need no other Saviour. Christ is the King of the Kingdom and He has made a way for us to come into the presence of the Majesty of the living God. On this our faith rests.

The world continues to tell us there is no God. More and more in our daily conversations less emphasis and place is given to God. The same thing applies in our homes and schools. Many do not want to hear about a God who demands their commitment and loyalty.

For us, we know that Christ is the Lord. This is the faith we need to guard jealously in our hearts. Like the hymn says, we need no other argument or explanation from men to affirm Christ to us. We know He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). For those of us who have believed in Jesus Christ, that is enough for us. May the Lord fill our hearts with this boldness in Jesus’ Name.
