Your Road Will Not Be Rough

Isaiah 26:1-7
But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. (Isaiah 26:7, New Living Translation).

Today, I want to encourage you to believe God for the best in the second half of the year. Our focal text gives us insight into one of the benefits available to believers who have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, “But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough” (Isaiah 26:7a, NLT). Friend, it means no matter what is going on around me and my world, I can be rest assured that God will lead me to level grounds. The road will not be rough for me.

No matter how life has dealt with me, I am moving forward not backward. I am making progress not regression. I am sure because the covenant cannot be broken. The King has decreed, “The path of the righteous shines brighter”. See Proverbs 4:18.

Therefore, if my path is meant to shine brighter, they are not allowed to be steep or rough. It also means that any situation that looks like rough paths are mirage, they will soon clear of for me to walk on level ground planned for me by the Lord. My situation must agree to the will of the One who “smooth out the path ahead of us”.

Hold on to this word. The rest of the year will be great and good for you in Jesus’ Name. Shalom.
