It Will Work For Your Good
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28, NIV).
Following yesterday’s devotional thoughts, I want to encourage us to trust God with our lives, our children and family. Let us trust Him with our present and our future. Let us trust Him with our successes, failures, struggles and victories. Let us believe that God knows what He is doing and in the end, we will be victorious and have a testimony.
Friend, let us believe what God says in His word about us. Paul, writing to the Romans, says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, NIV). That is the word of the Lord. Believe it!
Say to yourself, “This job, this child, this marriage, this business will all work together for my good”. This is the attitude of a believer. For our faith to be counted as righteousness for us, we must stand where God stands. If He says, “It will work out for my good”, that is what I expect. So, I choose to be a believer!
When He says, “I will do a new thing”, I believe Him. When He says, “Forget the past and look forward to a brighter future”, I believe Him. You see, I can go on and on. What do you believe? May the Lord make us believers in Jesus’ Name.
Shalom.
