Do Not Be Of Little Faith

Matthew 6:25-34
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? ( Matthew 6:30, KJV ).

Friend, do not allow the economic recession to get you down. Do not allow the news around the world to weigh you down. Why? The enemy’s goal is to keep us in a perpetual state of worry and anxiety. He will not stop until he makes sure that we have lost all hope of help and recovery.

But God forbid. The word of the Lord has gone forth. This is not the season to have little faith. This is the season to believe God and His word. It is the season to trust Him to fulfill His word in our lives. It is the season of pressing into the promises of God.

Jesus told His hearers, “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” (vs. 30, KJV).  In other words, if God could care for birds and flowers, He can do much more for us – the children whom He bought with the precious blood of His dear Son.

God’s power is available to turn things around for us. Let us wait on Him. When it is our turn, everything will turn around for our good. Remember, we are not unbelievers. We are believers. And believers believe what God says. Have faith.

Shalom.

Your Turn

  • Thank God for speaking to us today.
  • Pray for yourself that you will not be of little faith this year. You will believe God and trust Him to bring His word to pass in your life.
