Ephesians 2:10
We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

This is another year believers all over the world must strive to live out the mandate the Lord Jesus gave us in Matthew Chapter 5. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). We cannot afford to fail Him. Let us make 2017,  a year of good works.

This year, let us seek the Lord and ask Him to show us the good works He has ordained for us to do before we were born.  The Bible says, “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2:10).

God created you to meet someone’s need and make them happy. You were created to be a blessing not a burden to your world. All of us are gifted and talented with abilities which, if harnessed, would make our world a better place. It is time to rise up and be the city that is set on a hill.

We cannot continue to think small. We have greatness in us and God has called us to do great and good works. No matter who you are, your contribution matters. God expects you to do your part. May the Lord touch our hearts and stir us towards good works that will bring us joy, bless others and bring Him glory.
